Welcome all

There are two aspects to this Blog:
The Baby Moon Lifestyle side, which covers all our announcements, event lines ups and basic product selling. For more info: babymoonlifestyle.multiply.com

The second one is the Lolita Modeling side. There are blog entries that are resources to help in niche modeling.
Lolita Modeling is different from High Fashion or Catalog Modeling. Lolitas come in different shapes and sizes but what sets them apart is how they carry themselves. They must adhere to the Victorian appeal looking like a porcelain doll at all times.
Consider this an online workshop. So, see tips and tricks below.

Catwalk Modeling

Notice that there's a different gait in runway modeling. Blame it on 6 inch heels. But if you can only walk on 3 inches of heels, let's not force 6.

Catwalk modeling is tricky. You have to capture the look while walking. Here are some easy steps on how to achieve a good walk while looking good on the runway.

You will need: a lost strait place to walk in, your most comfortable heels, the least comfortable heels, a tall portable mirror.

Set up: At the end of your long strait practice place, put the mirror in the end.

Step 1: Wear your lest comfortable shoes. Face it, when it looks so good, it doesn't mean it feels good on your feet.
Step 2: Start walking in a strait line from top to bottom then pose in front of the mirror. While walking, you will notice how you look from a distance. That's how people will see you. At the end of the walk, you must know how to project.
Step 3: Practice Establishing your poses. When a show director tells you to Establish on a spot, they mean give 3 superb looks. So, try to establish at the beginning of the runway, at the middle then in the end.
Step 4: Give your feet a break but you still need to practice. Put on comfy heels and start walking again. Doing this five times a day will not only give you ample exercise but practice on runway walking.
